Web Designer
Remote Position

Our web designers work hand-in-hand with the client to craft beautiful, professional websites that meets and exceeds expectations. As a Boone Software web designer, you will play a vital role in the team, building and maintaining websites for small businesses and large corporations across the nation and potentially worldwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Built websites for clientele under contract
  • Search Engine Optimization – ensure clients’ websites are correctly optimized for and submitted to all major search engines
  • Work with supervisors to ensure websites and content reflect Boone Software’s standards
  • Keep clients updated on your activity and attend meetings as required
  • Ensure all activity is aligned with client objectives

Requirements:

  • Experience with WordPress or Drupal
  • Willing to learn, develop, and contribute
  • Team player
  • High attention to detail
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to work on own

Recommended:

  • Photoshop or GIMP
  • Adobe Illustrator, Sketch, or InDesign
  • PHP knowledge is a plus

Software Engineer
Remote Position

Software Engineers drive Boone Software forward. As a software company, we are constantly busy with projects left and right. As a Boone Software software engineer, you will jump in head-first into the fray, building awesome code for clientele and the company as a whole.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with team leaders to bootstrap new projects
  • Maintain existing code on any one of our platforms
  • Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code
  • Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specs, standards, and programming
  • Apply hotfixes on production code

Requirements:

  • Experience with PHP 5.6
  • Experience with MVC architecture
  • Ability to work in test-driven environments
  • Experience with version control, such as Git
  • Experience with package managers, such as Composer or npm
  • Knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript

Recommended:

  • Python experience is a plus
  • Angular 1.5 or 2 experience is a plus
  • Experience with Node.js
  • Experience with build tools like Webpack or Rollup
  • Experience with PHP 7.x
Sales Representative

As a Boone Software sales representative, you will work directly under the Sales Coordinator to bring in leads, negotiate sales, and convert leads to clientele.

Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with customers to ensure all of their needs are met
  • Communicate with the Sales Coordinator on potential sales
  • Negotiate sale prices with leads
  • Bring your A-Game to each sale; not every customer is going to be a sale, so you need to be able to bounce back if you lose a sale

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Able to work long hours, nights, and weekends
Social Media Manager
Remote Position

As a Boone Software social media manager, you have the pleasure of maintaining all venues of social media we maintain: Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with team leaders to ensure sales and discounts are advertised regularly
  • Regularly post to all three social media platforms to maintain steady presence
  • Set up paid search campaigns including; keyword research, campaign structure, targeting settings, ad creation, landing page recommendations
  • Copy writing – creating content such as blog posts, web pages, email campaigns

Required Skills:

  • At least 2 years of social media management experience
  • Proof reading skills
  • Excellent spelling and grammar (essential)
  • Google AdWords and Analytics knowledge
  • Ability to work on your own
  • Willing to learn, develop, and contribute
  • Very high attention to detail

Recommended:

  • Experience with email campaign platforms, such as MailChimp or ActiveCampaign
  • Knowledge of other platforms such as Bing Ads, LinkedIn Ads and Facebook Ads
